REQUIREMENTS

* All participants will need to have minimum 3 songs ready for their heat ( per week ) 

​

* It would pay to be prepared and have a 4th and 5th song ready as spares.

​

* If you do not win a heat, you are allowed to participate in the following weeks. No need to register again. ( 3 times only ) 

 

* If you miss out and compete again, we suggest you have another 3 ready to go, not heard any other times during the competition.   

​

* If you do win a heat, you are out until the Semi finals commence.

​

* Save your best songs until the last.

Its always good to begin with a warm up song, a middle of the road and then a grand finale for your 3rd.

​

* On the day, you will be required to bring your instruments and microphones, relevant leads, picks, capos, loop pedals and anything else you need to do your performance.

 

* Once your entry is confirmed, you will be required to provide a list of your sound requirements and what you may need so we can help you make things run smoothly on the day.

​

* We will have disposable mic covers handed out free if you opt for using our microphones (Shure Beta SM58) on each day of the competition.

* You are a rock star!! Make sure you dress to represent that image you are portraying. 

​

* The general rule of the competition and your lime light position is 15 mins or 3 songs. Subject to change ( you may get to play longer increasing your chances of winning a heat ) so give it all you got and be ready to give more with spare songs.

FINALLY. TO ENTER THIS COMPETITION - THERE IS NO CHARGE. So what are you waiting for ?

There is also NO CHARGE to be an audience member.

THE WINNERS OF THIS COMPETITION WILL NEED TO HAVE 3 HOURS MINIMUM MATERIAL  ( Safe amount of 40 SONGS ) TO BE ABLE TO PERFORM AT YOUR GIGS PLUS YOUR OWN PA.

If you do not have a your own PA, you can hire one from Inside Music Solutions.

Please note: Cancellations may see you left out of the competition all together so make sure you, know for sure of your availability
